ReportBuilder Enterprise 22.05 for Delphi 10.2-12
With ReportBuilder Enterprise, in addition to all the features of ReportBuilder Professional, you also have access to RAPlanguage software that allows developers and users to code calculations and manage complex events (Event Handlers) at runtime. RAP allows all reports, including data reports, calculations, and workspaces, to be stored outside the software runtime.
In ReportBuilder software, the structure of the report presentation is considered. The structure of the report presentation divides reporting into four parts: data access + data processing + report display format = report output.
In ReportBuilder Enterprise software, the goal is to send a complete report to the user. This goal is achieved by sending a visual report, providing easy solutions for each of these four steps.
Each of these four reporting environments has its own unique tab that has a visual environment for building and configuring the components of the environment under its control. The output of each environment then becomes the input to the next environment: data is fed into the calculation environment, and the calculations are used as input to the components within ReportBuilder Enterprise for each of the environments described below.
Workspaces and Features Available in the ReportBuilder Component:
Data: In the DATA tab workspace, the user can easily create DataViews, which can be the same data that makes up the report. These tables are usually easily created through the Query Wizard or Query Designer. Both of these tools are intuitive and allow the user to select the tables, fields, search rules, and sorting required for the report. Behind the scenes, an SQL statement is generated and used to read data from the database.
(Calc (RAP): The Calc environment is used to manage RAP codes related to reports. The Calc environment includes a tree structure of the report that includes objects and report contents. By selecting each object, the user will have the ability to code for the event manager in a special editing environment for coding.
Design: The Design environment includes the report presentation template. A professional user interface with many features. With an environment like Office 97, which makes it easy for the user to use it in a familiar environment. Also, to simplify the work, the wizard of this environment can be used to prepare the report.
Preview: This environment is used to preview the prepared report. The ability to print the final report or save it in any other format is also included in this environment.
